For an Internet help group to be effective in preventing cyber crimes, it must work with and through law enforcement. Our volunteers have been instrumental in the successful prosecution of child molester groups online, around the world.

While a large portion of our work involves preventing and helping investigate cybercrimes and abuses, Wired Kids has a softer side as well. Our Wired-Ed online education programs are offered free to parents, senior citizens, schools and children.

WiredKids.org has many online safety games for younger children. And the first overall Internet safety video for families is now available without charge online by Wired Kids through its sponsors. Wired Kids is very selective in choosing its sponsors and strategic partners. Wired Kids' supporters include such trusted names as Disney, Johnson & Johnson, NEC Foundation, AOL/Time Warner Foundation, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, AOL, Nickelodeon, and Marvel, among others.

Men and Women of Substance & Style

Washington Life Magazine and a special group of caring Washington, DC residents have formed an Executive Committee and have joined together to help create more awareness on the issue of child sexual exploitation and trafficking. Especially given the recent tragedy of the tsunami and the number of recently orphaned children at risk of being doubly victimized by the international sex trade and pedophile groups already operating in those countries, this is more essential now than ever before. Wired Kids is honored to be recognized by such an illustrious publication as Washington Life.
